Night Web Browser by Alex vs TouchColor

The original app for those of us who browse at night, since 2012. *Top 5 Best Web Browsers for iPhone* /iMore.com Night Web Browser by Alex is the only web browser that dims your whole screen — the web page, the toolbars and fullscreen video on YouTube, Instagram and everywhere else — far below what the iPhone's own brightness slider will let you go. PLEASE NOTE: only what is inside the browser can be dimmed. iOS does not let any app dim the rest of the system. Do you think your iPhone's or iPad's screen is too bright when you look at it in the dark? Night Web Browser lets you browse in bed without disturbing the one next to you and without straining your eyes. One tap on the sun button brings up darkness and warmth, and the whole screen follows. FEATURES - Darkness boost, far below the system minimum - Warmer colour temperature for less blue light - Dims fullscreen video and the toolbars — and the clock too, if you switch that on - Fades in and out gently, never a jolt - Turns on automatically between times you choose, or from sunset to sunrise where you are - Set it from Shortcuts, Siri, or by holding the app — or let it come on with the Sleep Focus THE BROWSER AROUND IT - Can be your default browser app, with passkeys and saved passwords as in Safari - Flip through your open tabs, or lay them out in a row or a grid — and in those two, drag them into any order - Video, beside your tabs: each of your video sites in its own tab that stays on that site and keeps its own sign-in, apart from the rest of your browsing - Any of them can have its own icon on the Home Screen - Bookmarks in folders, and import them from Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Edge - Page zoom, find on page, and request the desktop website - Download files, and open or share them from the app - Searchable history — or switch off saving it altogether - Private tabs, which leave nothing behind - On iOS 27, every site you visit is asked not to sell or share your personal data - Search suggestions as you type — Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Baidu or Ecosia - Swipe back and forward like in Safari - Available in 21 languages - No account, no analytics, no tracking FREE, WITH ONE OPTIONAL UNLOCK The night filter and everything above are free. Night Web Browser Pro is one purchase, once — not a subscription. It adds a Reading List that downloads whole articles — even everything a front page links to — to read offline, plus Listen to Page (the article read aloud, with a sleep timer), Reader (just the article), Dark Mode for Web Pages, Translate Page, Block Ads and Trackers, Block Cookie Notices, Hide Distracting Items and Lock Private Tabs. Pro also keeps the brightness down after you leave the browser, until you change it in Control Center. Download the evening's reading before a flight — or before you turn off the lights. If you bought this app before it became free, Pro is already yours. You will never be asked to pay again.
