The Midst is a location-based social network and life logging app. Posting to The Midst drops a pin at your current location and is visible to anyone in the world. Pan the map to see what's happening around the world. Posts expire after 24 hours, ensuring information remains relevant and up-to-date. Posts can be anonymous by hiding your screen name in Settings. Check-in: Have you stumbled upon a fantastic new food truck or a great coffee shop? Check-in by tapping a place on the map. Check-ins can be public by also posting to The Midst, or choose to only save check-ins to your Saved Places list. Wish List: Did someone check in at a place you find interesting? Tap the pin on the map in The Midst and add that location to your Wish List. Saved places and wish list items are saved in the Check In tab. Some regions now require age verification for social apps. The Midst uses Apple’s Declared Age Range verification to meet these regulations while protecting your privacy. Verification is a one-time, on-device check using the age information already stored in your iCloud account. We only receive a yes/no confirmation that you meet the age requirement. The Midst never sees, stores, or transmits your birthday or actual age. The contacts app on your phone was designed in a different era. A name, a number, maybe an email. That's all it's ever known about the people in your life. Dipity starts there and builds something completely different. From the moment you open it. Pull in your existing contacts and start adding real context around the people in your life. Where is this person from? How do you know them? What do they care about? Assign home cities and interests so the person behind the name always makes sense. Group everyone into Orbits, your own custom circles, so finding the right contact takes a second rather than a scroll. Meet someone new and easily share your information appropriate for that person. One search, your whole world. Type a name and find a person. Type a city and see who you know there, the spots you've saved, and whether an upcoming trip puts you there at the same time as someone else. Type a restaurant and find out if a connection has been. Search understands your network, your places, and your plans, so the most relevant result always comes first, whether it's a person, a place, or somewhere worth adding to your list. Build a record of your life in places. Stamp continents, countries, states, cities, and the individual spots that meant something to you. GPS-verified stamps prove you were really there. Watch your Travel Index grow as you collect the world. Add photos and notes as Scraps. Your visit history runs in the background, quietly logging everywhere you go and how often you return. All of this works entirely on your own, no network required. Connect with the people you trust, and it goes further. When someone you're connected with arrives in your city, Dipity tells you. When you end up within 50 meters of each other, you get a quiet nudge with no exact location shared, just enough to know they're nearby. Add an upcoming trip and see which connections you'll be in the same place as before you even leave. The near-miss becomes a plan. You stay in control. Choose exactly what each connection can see: your current city, your upcoming trips, your travelogue, your spots. Nothing is shared unless you decide to share it. Dipity is the contacts app that was always missing. Useful from day one, and better with every person you add. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
