Biz Kimiz? Türkiye Yat Kaptanları ve Çalışanları Derneği 1989 yılında Türkiye kıyılarında görev yapan yat kaptanlarının bir araya gelmesi için kurulmuştur. Derneğimiz ilk kurulduğu günden itibaren bünyesinde yer alan tüm tecrübeli yat kaptanları ve aday yat kaptanları için başvuru kaynağı olmuş, bunun yanı sıra Türkiye'de yat kaptanlığı mesleğinin sorunlarına çözüm bulmak amacı ile çok sayıda çalışmanın içinde yer almıştır. Ülkemiz kıyılarında görev yapan yat kaptanlarının önünü açabilmek ve yat kaptanlığı mesleğinin niteliklerini artırmak amacı ile çalışmalarımıza ilk günkü heyecan ve dinamizmle devam etmekteyiz. Neler Yapıyoruz? Üyemiz olan tüm yat kaptanlarının mesleki olarak birçok konuda bilgilerini güncellemesi ve mesleki yeterliliklerini en üst seviyeye çıkarabilmesi adına eğitimler düzenlemekteyiz. Sektörün ve yat kaptanlığı mesleğinin sorunlarına çözümler getirmek adına yeni projeler hazırlayarak, süreçleri iyileştirecek öneriler geliştirerek, gerekli istatistiksel veriler ve ilk elden bilgi birikimimizle ilgili devlet kurumları ile sürekli temas halinde kalarak yat kaptanlığı mesleğinin daha iyi noktalara gelebilmesi için yoğun bir biçimde zaman ve emek sarf etmekteyiz. Sektörde yat kaptanına ihtiyaç duyulan her noktada, ihtiyaç duyan kişi ve kurumlara bünyemizde yer alan tecrübeli kaptanlardan ihtiyaçlara en uygun olanlarını yönlendirerek hem kaptanlarımızın hem de kaptana ihtiyaç duyan kişi ve kurumların karşılıklı memnuniyetinin en üst seviyede olmasını amaçlamaktayız.
