About

Chop King

Features

Your first run is 30 seconds. Your tenth one is at 2 a.m. Tap anywhere and your beaver walks there. Stand near a tree and the axe swings on its own. Trees fall, logs pile up, gold pours in. Then you spend that gold on a better axe, and suddenly the starter forest looks pathetic. Go ahead. Try to play only one. TAP TO MOVE, THE AXE DOES THE REST No buttons to memorize, no tutorial, no menu. Tap a tree to chop that one until it falls. Everything else happens by itself. There is an optional eight-way pad in settings if you prefer it, with a left-hand option. CARDS THAT COST YOU SOMETHING Level up mid-run and draft one of three cards. Sixteen upgrades, seven specials that change the rules of the run, and seven hidden evolutions you have to work out yourself - the recipes are never shown to you. Then there are the cursed cards. Big multipliers with the price printed right on the card: shorter log life, slower pull, a higher fever threshold. Stack three and the forest turns to gold while logs rot in front of you faster than you can reach them. That is the run you will tell someone about. THE WOOD FIGHTS BACK A giant tree stands at the end of every stage with a timer on it. Miss it and it skips the next stage. Boar thieves raid your logs from stage two and walk off with your gold - the number above their head is your money. Auto-chopping will not deal with them. Tap, chase, three hits, and you get all of it back plus a bonus. TWELVE FORESTS, SEEDLING TO SUMMIT Birch hills, a fog-soaked swamp, a volcanic slope, a crystal cavern, a sky garden, the summit of the World Tree. Each has its own trees, palette and weather. Deeper forests pay far more per log and fight back with tougher wood. Runs grow from 30 seconds to 90. A STAT TREE THAT KEEPS UNFOLDING 113 nodes across six branches: axe power, collection, luck, forest, gold and tempo. Luck is not decoration - it pushes rare cards into your draft. Something good is always one run away. GEAR YOU CAN SEE, FORGED FIVE TIMES 21 pieces across hats, axes and boots. Every upgrade changes your woodcutter on screen. Each piece forges five times, and the odds drop from 95 percent to 30 - failure raises your next chance, so nothing is wasted. Reaching five stars opens the next tier. SIX LUMBERJACKS BESIDE YOU A rabbit, a woodpecker, a gorilla, a hedgehog and an ant, all unlocked with gold from the forest. They chop and haul permanently, and the result screen shows you exactly what share of the run they earned. The sixth is a collector robot, unlocked by watching rewarded ads. Complete the crew for a set bonus. A NEW FRONTIER WHEN YOU RUN OUT OF FOREST Clear a run deep enough and you can start over on a fresh map for a permanent gold multiplier, keeping every piece of gear, skill, crew member and discovery. Each frontier unlocks a charm that rewrites the run: shorter and richer, more cursed cards, or twice the thieves and twice the bounty. 22 achievements, and any one you finish can be worn as a title. LEAVING MID-RUN IS FINE Close the app in the middle of a run and the camp offers to resume it - gold, level, card build, evolution progress, all of it. Runs are short on purpose. One elevator ride. One queue. One red light. No energy bar, no lives, no waiting. HAND-DRAWN PIXEL ART Chunky retro pixels, twelve hand-tuned forest palettes, and a beaver that visibly changes every time you buy something. Made by one developer. Everything you earn is permanent. Every run pays for the next one. Today's objective: become the Chop King. Estimated time: 30 seconds, and counting. Chop King is free to play and supported by optional ads. There are no in-app purchases: no currency packs, no subscriptions, nothing to buy. Watching an ad is always your choice, and one rewarded ad skips the break ads for three runs. The game plays offline with no account and no sign-in. There is no PvP, no leaderboards and no online play: it is you, an axe, and a forest that keeps getting bigger.
