MicMan vs MoFind

A simple to use voice recorder app that has stereo recording capabilities, the capability to select external microphones, voice transcription capabilities and sharing capabilities! Just double tap or hold the microphone button and speak away!

Stop scrubbing through hours of camera footage. MoFind is a motion detection tool for videos you already have. Import security camera, doorbell camera, or trail camera footage, and MoFind finds the parts where something moves. All scanning and analysis happen on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Vision Pro. Your videos are not uploaded. MoFind analyzes saved video files; it is not a remote camera viewer or live monitoring client. Good for • Finding movement in long security recordings • Reviewing footage from the front door, yard, garage, warehouse, or shop • Checking doorbell and trail camera clips for motion events • Skipping long stretches where nothing changes Key features • Motion event scan Automatically detects changes in the frame and creates an event list with start time, duration, and a thumbnail. Motion-only mode also shows a motion score. • Smart classification Keeps every detected motion event and tries to identify people, vehicles, and animals. Filter scan results and history by category; unclassified events are kept too. • Detection region Scan only the area you care about to reduce noise from trees, roads, timestamps, or other background changes. • Sensitivity and time range Use low, medium, high, or custom sensitivity, and scan only a selected part of a video. • Event preview Quickly review each event with its time, duration, and thumbnail. Motion-only mode shows the score; classification mode shows recognized categories. • Event videos and annotations Save separate event videos with the output settings you choose, including timecode. Motion-only mode can add motion boxes and motion scores; classification mode shows boxes around currently moving recognized targets. • Quick test Choose a 1-, 2-, 5-, or 10-minute segment to preview the original video, motion mask, or recognized boxes. The test does not save or export results. • Event clips Save detected events as separate videos. Exporting or sharing event clips requires Pro. • History Keep completed scan results so you can return to them later. Video formats • Common formats: MP4, M4V, MOV (H.264/H.265) • macOS: compatible processing for more common video formats • iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro: supports formats the system can decode directly The free version supports one video up to 30 minutes and one detection region. Pro unlocks longer videos, multi-video queues, multiple detection regions, and event video export and sharing.
