Ever pulled a card from a pack and had no idea who the player is, how rare the card is, or whether it's worth anything? RookiePit scans it and tells you. HOW IT WORKS Point your camera at a baseball card, basketball card, or Pokémon TCG card (or pick a photo from your library). RookiePit identifies what's in your hand and shows you what matters. SPORTS CARDS • Player bio — age, position, years of experience • Career stats + latest season stats, pulled from official MLB and ESPN data • Major awards and highlights (MVP, All-Star, Rookie of the Year, and more) • Rookie, autograph, numbered, and parallel card detection • A short AI-generated summary putting the numbers in context — grounded in real data, never made up, never investment advice POKÉMON TCG, TOO • Character identification, printed rarity, and holo foil detection • A "Did You Know?" fact about the Pokémon and the card itself • Works with Japanese, English, and Chinese print cards — shown in your chosen app language REFERENCE MARKET PRICE A price range based on current active eBay listings for every card, sports or Pokémon — for reference only, never a valuation or investment advice. MY COLLECTION Save any scanned card to build your own local collection, searchable and filterable by card type. REAL DATA, NOT GUESSES Baseball stats come from MLB's official Stats API. Basketball stats come from ESPN. Every number is real, sourced from official league data — not a black box. WHO IT'S FOR Whether you just opened your first pack or you've been collecting for years — sports cards or Pokémon — RookiePit helps you actually understand what's in your hand. Currently supports MLB (baseball), NBA (basketball), and Pokémon TCG cards. Available in English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese. Free to use.
