FlatBuddy: Revolutionizing Shared Living Welcome to FlatBuddy, the ultimate app designed to transform the way university students and shared living communities manage their flat responsibilities. Whether you’re a first-year student navigating the complexities of communal living or simply sharing a home with friends or roommates, FlatBuddy is here to make your life easier, fairer, and more The app that ends "whose turn is it?" for good. Chores, bills, and flat drama — sorted in one place. Free. Always. Full description Living with flatmates should be one of the best parts of uni. It's usually one of the most chaotic. Whose turn is it to clean the kitchen? Who owes who for the takeaway three weeks ago? Who finished the milk and didn't replace it? Again? FlatBuddy is the app that actually fixes it - not another group chat that turns into 200 unread messages and a passive-aggressive Post-it note. One place for your whole flat. Fair, transparent, and honestly kind of fun. Here's what changes: One flat, one code Set up your flat in seconds or join with the 6-digit code your flatmate sends you. Everyone's in, everyone's seen, no admin required. Chores that rotate fairly and easily Set a rota once and it runs itself. 8 ready-made templates to get started (dishes, bins, bathroom, and more), a calendar that shows exactly what's due, overdue, or done, and one-tap complete when you're finished. No more "I thought it was your turn." Shared stuff, sorted Milk, loo roll, bin bags - the never-ending list of things a flat needs. Mark something finished and FlatBuddy automatically rotates who's buying next. No more standoffs at the empty fridge. Money without the awkwardness Log any shared cost, split it however you like, and settle up in-app. Snap a photo of the receipt and FlatBuddy's AI pulls out the amounts for you — no more doing maths in the group chat at midnight. See exactly who owes what, always. Flag it, don't fume about it See a mess? Snap a photo, describe it, and tag whoever's responsible. It's on record, it's fair, and it usually gets sorted a lot faster than a sigh and a dirty look. The Fairness Score Every flatmate gets a score based on chores, expenses, and shared products - so "I do everything around here" finally has receipts. There's even an Exam Season mode that eases up on anyone deep in revision, because FlatBuddy gets it. FlatBoard A shared board for your flat - post updates, share photos, pin the important stuff. Somewhere that isn't your family group chat and isn't a WhatsApp that never stops buzzing. Games for when you're all in Drinking games, Would You Rather, and genuinely good questions to ask the people you live with - for the nights you're actually all in the kitchen at once. Going home? Hit vacate. Heading back for reading week or a weekend away? Vacate mode pauses your chores and product turns and fairly redistributes them to whoever's still around. Come back, and everything picks up right where you left off - no arguments, no guilt trip. Notifications that actually help A morning nudge for today's chores, a heads-up the night before, and an alert the second it's your turn on the rota. FlatBuddy remembers so you don't have to. Free. Always. FlatBuddy is free for every student, every flat, every year. No subscriptions, no premium tier hiding the features you actually need. Download FlatBuddy, get your flat's code, and stop having the same argument about the bins every single week.
