Taverns (tav.gg) is a gaming community and group messaging/chat app where friends, guilds, clans, fandoms, and hobby groups can chat, talk, organize, and build a space that feels like their own. Create a Tavern for your community, then arrange conversations into Halls for text chat, live voice, announcements, threads, and forums. Keep quick messages moving, give longer discussions room to breathe, and help members find what matters. BUILD A SPACE THAT FEELS LIKE YOURS • Create and organize themed community spaces • Customize Tavern themes, profile backgrounds, and display styles • Use custom emoji, stickers, GIFs, and reactions • Arrange Halls into clear categories CHAT, TALK, AND PLAN TOGETHER • Send messages and join live voice Halls • Use threads and tagged forums for focused discussions • Publish announcements and community rules • Plan events and run polls TOOLS FOR COMMUNITY OWNERS • Set roles and permissions • Create public, private, and staff-only spaces • Manage invites and new-member access • Keep growing communities organized without losing their identity SAFETY AND CONTROL Report content or accounts, block abusive users, control who can contact you, manage friend requests, and choose how sensitive content is displayed. Taverns is built for gaming groups, online communities, anime fans, roleplayers, creators, and anyone who wants their community to feel like a place, not just a message list.
