FileMaker Go cannot read an identity card by itself. eID 2 FMP can: it reads the Belgian eID through a Bluetooth card reader and hands the data to your FileMaker file in one move, on the same device or on your server. FOR WHOM For FileMaker developers building a counter application where people identify themselves: a rental business, a sports club, a reception desk, a building site. And for businesses that today retype names from an identity card, with the typos that come with it. WHAT THE APP DOES • Reads the contact chip of the Belgian eID through a Bluetooth reader (Zetes Sipiro M BT 4.0 / FEITIAN bR301BLE) • Fourteen fields: surname, given names, date and place of birth, sex, nationality, card number, expiry date, full address and the portrait • Sends the data straight to FileMaker Go: the file opens with a filled-in record • Or the other way round: a button in your file calls eID 2 FMP, has a card read and gets the answer back at the right record • Portrait as base64, ready for a container field • Self-test with nine checks and a trial with a made-up card, so you can test the chain without a reader • APDU traffic in view: every command to the card and every answer back • Dutch, French and English, selectable in the app NO NATIONAL REGISTER NUMBER That number is separately regulated in Belgium. eID 2 FMP skips it while reading; there is no setting to send it anyway. PRIVACY The data stays on your device and only goes to the FileMaker file you configure. No server of ours, no account, no advertising. WHAT YOU NEED An iPhone or iPad, a Bluetooth card reader and FileMaker Go 19 or later with the fmurlscript privilege enabled in your file. FREE TRIAL The app is free. The first twenty readings are free, then a single one-time purchase for unlimited use. No subscription. Developed in Belgium, for the Belgian identity card.
