Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Ant Browser at every 2 weeks against DayWatch's every 6 weeks. Ant Browser also leads on ratings volume (50 vs 6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayWatch sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Ant Browser sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for DayWatch against 4.6 for Ant Browser. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ant Browser has 50 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
DayWatch ships an update every 6 weeks, Ant Browser every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
