Queue is the simplest podcast app out there. New episodes from your subscriptions automatically appear in one simple list, your Queue. From here you can either play them, or archive them. When you open an episode, you see the title and show notes right away, and you can also play the episode from here. We also have full support for chapters and chapter artwork, and we even detect timestamps in the episode show notes and turn them into interactive chapters. The entire app was custom designed to offer you the simplest possible podcast experience, and it's full of beautiful little touches and fun details. I've spent month designing and building Queue for you, and I have some really cool ideas for it. I can't wait to hear what you think! - Eike Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

About

Bingecast

Features

Bingecast is the podcast player built for bingeing old shows and stories. Found an old show and want to start from the beginning? Pick any episode and turn on binge mode. Bingecast keeps the next few episodes downloaded and ready, deletes each one as you finish it, and pulls in the next automatically. No manual queue-wrangling, no storage bloat. Just press play and keep going. Prefer to keep up with new shows week to week? Standard mode auto-downloads the newest episodes and cleans up as you go, like a classic podcast app. EVERYONE GETS • Binge mode and standard mode, set per show • Background downloads that continue when the app is closed • A full-screen player with chapters, artwork, and lock-screen controls • OPML import and export, plus podcast search — bring your shows from any app • Playback that remembers exactly where you left off BINGECAST PRO ADDS • Real-time notifications the moment a show you follow posts a new episode • Per-show skip intro/outro — jump past branded intros and end credits automatically • iCloud subscription sync across your devices No ads. No tracking. No account required. Your listening never leaves your device, and diagnostic collection is off by default.

Verdict

The call

Queue and Bingecast are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS

CostPrice · In-app purchases · Ads · Monetization

Both are free to download. Queue sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Bingecast sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
