Queue is the simplest podcast app out there. New episodes from your subscriptions automatically appear in one simple list, your Queue. From here you can either play them, or archive them. When you open an episode, you see the title and show notes right away, and you can also play the episode from here. We also have full support for chapters and chapter artwork, and we even detect timestamps in the episode show notes and turn them into interactive chapters. The entire app was custom designed to offer you the simplest possible podcast experience, and it's full of beautiful little touches and fun details. I've spent month designing and building Queue for you, and I have some really cool ideas for it. I can't wait to hear what you think! - Eike Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
Finite

The news should have an ending. Finite creates a small morning or evening news edition from publications you choose. Each edition contains a clearly limited set of stories, stays stable once it has been prepared, and finishes with a real “You finished the news” screen. CHOOSE YOUR PUBLICATIONS Add trusted RSS and Atom feeds or begin with the suggested publication directory. Finite does not build an opaque interest profile or fill your screen with algorithmic recommendations. READ A FINITE EDITION Choose a five-story edition, or unlock ten-story editions with Finite Premium. Open each story at its original publisher, deliberately skip it, or save it for later. Every edition has a visible end. FINISH THE NEWS There is no Load More button, infinite scroll or stream of related articles after completion. Once your edition is complete, Finite tells you that you are done. BUILD A CALMER ROUTINE Choose a morning edition, an evening edition, or both. Optional reminders help you read the news at a deliberate time instead of repeatedly checking feeds throughout the day. UNDERSTAND YOUR HABIT See completed editions, reading consistency and a clearly labelled estimate of time reclaimed compared with your self-reported news routine. Optional challenges help you try a calmer relationship with the news without turning the app into another source of pressure. LOCAL-FIRST PRIVACY Finite requires no account. Your publication choices, editions and reading history are stored locally on your device. Articles remain with their publishers and open using Apple’s secure in-app browser. Finite does not scrape or reproduce complete articles. FINITE PREMIUM Finite Premium unlocks: • Morning and evening editions • Ten-story editions • Unlimited publications • Preferred-source controls • OPML import and export • Additional progress tools Subscription pricing and terms are displayed before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple Account subscription settings. Finish the news. Then leave the feed. Verdict
Queue and Finite are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. Queue sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Finite sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
