Where's The Play?

PRODUCT PAGE TEXTWhen my son, Drew, was starting out in Little League, he had all the basic skills but wasn't sure what to do when he fielded the ball. I had an idea how I could reach Drew and heighten his mental approach. Like physical skills, mental skills need to be practiced. I programmed the first inning of Where’s The Play?® so he could interactively practice simulated field situations. I knew an interactive approach would involve him in the learning process. By touching/clicking on choices on the screen and getting immediate feedback, whether right or wrong, he'd discover baseball principles on his own. And it worked. Where's The Play?® is for boys and girls 5-12 playing baseball or softball. It’s a simple training tool that covers the basics of making plays in the field. WTP is not intended for All-Star or Travel Team players. They already know what WTP teaches.Coaches know that every time the ball is hit, each player on the field has a job! Every coach expects his team to know defensive fundamentals, and that’s what Where’s The Play?® teaches: How to play smart and stand out in the field.Players: Learn their job on the field and know what to do when the ball is hit. They’re more confident, relaxed, and make more plays. Kids are engaged and relate to Drew, who is 12 years old and the voice of Where’s The Play®.Coaches: Reinforces what you teach. Never contradicts! Builds mental agility and reduces mistakes. Your entire team plays smart in the field! Great for working with teams on rainy days or when field time is limited.Parents: Your kids have more fun because Where's The Play?® teaches them how to play smart in the field. It builds their confidence, competence, and reduces stress.Inning 3 Covering The Bases, Inning 4 Backing Up The Play, and Inning 5 Cutting Off The Throw will be future in-app purchases. WTP was originally released as a CD-ROM. These testimonials are about that version. This new version improves on the original.I'm a grandfather of little leaguers and a 40-year coach at every amateur level. Field practice time is scarce and precious. After batting practice and infield/outfield there isn't much time for 'situations.' WTP lets players do 'their homework' on this most important aspect of the game. My grandsons love it and said it's the best present I ever gave them. • Grandparent/CoachI think WTP is great! I've had our whole team over playing it together. It has increased my son's field awareness 150%! • Parent/CoachI bought Where's the Play for my boy and after he played it one time, I was amazed with what he had learned in such a short time. • Parent/CoachI have recommended WTP to all my players' parents. For my money this is the best, off field, baseball teaching tool available. • Parent/CoachWhere’s The Play?® is best used on an iPad.
