Verdict

The call

Dirt Action and DriverMonitor both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of DriverMonitor's written reviews are positive against 0% of Dirt Action's. DriverMonitor also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (19 vs 1). Dirt Action's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
