Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Republika at 4.0 against TVN24's 2.5. Republika also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). TVN24's advantage is ratings volume (98 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TVN24 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Republika asks for nothing beyond the download.
Republika holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TVN24 has 98 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of TVN24's written reviews are positive against 0% of Republika's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
