Both are free to download. Times Tables & Column Math sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Multiplication Table Trainer asks for nothing beyond the download.
Times Tables & Column Math holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Times Tables & Column Math has 27 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Multiplication Table Trainer's written reviews are positive against 17% of Times Tables & Column Math's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Multiplication Table Trainer ships an update every 37 months, Times Tables & Column Math fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
