A cat wants boops. That is the entire job. Every couple of seconds it asks for one. A boop on the nose, a scritch of the belly. A pat on the head, a squish of the beans. You get a beat or two to hit the right spot before it moves on, and if you whiff three times you're done. It starts easy and keeps speeding up until your thumb gives out. Pick how you play: Tap mode, where you just touch the part it's asking for. Gesture mode, where you actually do the motion. Land a streak and the music climbs with you. Keep it going and you'll rack up treats. Treats are for cosmetics, and this is where it gets silly. Coats, collars, little hats, sunglasses, earrings your cat never asked for. Put together whatever look you want. Short on treats? Watch an ad for a few more, or grab a treat pack. Post your best run to the Game Center leaderboards. Tap and Gesture each have their own board, so being a tapping legend earns you nothing on the gesture side. It's a portrait, one-thumb, one-more-go sort of game. Fine for a bus ride, a checkout line, or looking busy in a meeting. No account to set up, no energy bar, no cat harmed. Made by Boopware.

Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Goodest Boops at 5.0 against Dinosaur Assassin's 3.6. Goodest Boops also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 68%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 months). Dinosaur Assassin's advantage is ratings volume (40 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
