Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Camac at free against LUT Lab's free with in-app purchases. Camac also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 2). LUT Lab's advantage is device support (4 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Camac sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and LUT Lab sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Camac against 5.0 for LUT Lab. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Camac has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
Camac ships an update every 10 days, LUT Lab every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 2, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
