(NOTE: This free trial version is fully functional, but has a maximum of 10 Patterns) Have you ever tried going on a shopping spree for new yarn (in physical stores or online), only to feel completely lost by not knowing exactly how you would use that nice-looking skein of yarn, and end up purchasing the wrong thing - or purchasing the right thing, but in the wrong quantity - or worse, still: Leaving empty-handed? If your answer is "yes", then Crocheting Patterns will be your indispensable companion in the future. The inspiration in the form of your pattern library is right at your fingertips, wherever you go, and you can easily make sure that you purchase the right yarn in the right quantity - and with the right accessories. The app also helps you find inspiration on how to best make use of your current stash of yarn. The app lets you gain the perfect overview in a single place, whether your patterns are purchased, found in magazines, or your own creations entirely. You can categorize your patterns based from standard garment types, or create as many of your own categories as you like. You can have your patterns sorted alphabetically, by most recent usage, or in any particular order you like. Each pattern can be associated with as many categories as you wish. It is entirely up to you how many details you want to register for your individual patterns, but the more details you supply, the more help you will find in the built-in filtering function. When browsing your patterns, only the filled-in information is shown, so you won't have to deal with lots of empty fields. Using the camera, you can supply your pattern details with pictures of the model, attach PDF files for the instructions, or perhaps add pictures of the finalized garments. You can add as many attachments as you like, both for your categories, your patterns and your yarns. Use the Filter function if you need to search for a specific pattern in your pattern library, or just need inspiration for your next project, based on a specific yarn. In all aspects, Crocheting Patterns is an indispensable app, for the experienced crocheter and the newcomer alike!

Your yarn, new projects. Find patterns for the yarn you already have. HOW IT WORKS Find patterns for your yarn. Add your yarn, and we find patterns that suit it. See if you have enough yarn for your size. We measure your stash against the pattern's yarn usage in your size. Find substitute yarn. We suggest alternatives and explain the similarities and differences. WHAT CAN I KNIT WITH MY LEFTOVER YARN? Nysta shows you. You add your yarn, and we find the patterns you can knit with the yarn and leftovers you already have. If you have several leftovers, we suggest combinations that work together, and we work out whether you have enough yarn for a given pattern. DO I HAVE ENOUGH YARN FOR A PARTICULAR PATTERN? You choose the pattern, and Nysta reads its yarn requirement and checks it against your stash. We show what you already have, what you are missing, and which yarns from your own stash or well-known yarn lines can be used as alternatives. WHAT CAN I SUBSTITUTE A YARN WITH? Nysta finds similar yarns and shows how well they match. We assess gauge, fiber, spinning and construction to help you find a substitute that suits your project, and we explain the differences so you know what you are getting. WHICH YARNS DO YOU COVER? A large international yarn catalog. If your yarn is missing, you can add it yourself. WHAT DOES IT COST? A monthly or yearly subscription, priced in your own currency in the App Store.
