Pitch Call Pro vs Softball DP/Flex Simulator

With Pitch Call Pro you can use any device and any headset or earbuds for 1-way communication to call pitches, defensive plays, and issue reminders or encouragement. All pitch types, and locations are customizable. There are separate Pitch Calling menus for baseball and softball to further customize your experience. You can also set up 12 custom coach favorite pitches (per sport) and 12 custom pitcher favorite pitches (per pitcher). You also have access to 24 custom buttons where you can set your defensive play calls, issue reminders, cues, or encouragement, give commands, and even tell your catcher to call timeout to conference with your pitcher. You even have an umpires indicator at the bottom of the Pitch Calling menu; by long pressing on the count you can send the Balls, Strike, Outs status to your players. We're excited to bring you this release of Pitch Call Pro, but even more excited about the upcoming innovations that we are currently testing on real ball fields across the country.

Introducing the first and only DP/Flex Softball Simulator. This app is designed to help you fully understand the interworkings of the DP/Flex rule, per the official rulebook (collegiate, high school, club, & international). Enter line-ups and make substitutions which the app will confirm are allowed (or not allowed) before you take the field, so that you can be prepared & confident when it comes to game time. -Create your own line-up with custom player names -Prep for games by running your substitutions through this app (or use in the dugouts, where allowed) -Save your line-ups for future use -Access to videos, such as why it's advantageous to enter your DP into the field and create an OP This app follows the basic premises of the DP/Flex Rules: -Flex is always listed 10th on the lineup card, and can only enter as a batter if for the DP. -To use a DP/Flex, must start the game with a DP/ Flex (cannot add once the game starts). -Once any player leaves the game (out of the lineup), they have used a sub. Only starters may re-enter (one time) after being subbed out. Thus, if flex bats for DP, this counts as a sub for the player in the DP spot. -The DP spot is initially listed as only hitting, however they can enter the field and play a position, turning the player they entered into the field for, into the "OP" (Offensive Player), who now just hits. The flex cannot hit for the OP, still can only hit for the DP.
