Spatial Audio Preview is a focused tool for hearing exactly how Apple's spatial audio renderer handles your files. Load any audio or video file and switch between Apple's Music and Movie spatial rendering profiles in real time. Spatial Audio Preview reads your file's true format — sample rate, bit depth, channel count, and channel layout, including Dolby Atmos and multichannel surround layouts — and shows you exactly what's playing. The app also tells you whether your connected output (AirPods, Beats, or other accessories) actually supports spatial audio rendering, so you always know if what you're hearing is spatialized or just raw channels being played back.
