Mutes the swearing. Keeps the movie. CleanCut filters what's playing on your Apple TV, live, inside the apps you already use, on the hardware you already own. No more lunging for the remote. Pair CleanCut with your Apple TV, press play, and it tracks exactly where the TV is in the show: profanity is muted the instant it lands, unwanted segments are skipped past. You keep watching in Disney+, Hulu, Prime Video, Plex, or YouTube with the remote already in your hand. Nothing is cast from a browser or re-encoded, and nothing is installed on the TV. It works on the streams you already pay for. HOW IT WORKS • Pair in seconds: enter the 4-digit PIN your Apple TV shows. No account and no extra hardware. • Play something in a supported app. Your Apple TV reports what's playing and where; CleanCut matches a subtitle track to it automatically. • Swearing is muted in real time while the scene plays on. • On YouTube, sponsor reads skip themselves (free). Intros, outros, self-promos, recaps, and more are one toggle each. FREE ON YOUTUBE AND PLEX YouTube and Plex are filtered in full at no charge, with every word-list control. On Plex, CleanCut mutes the swearing in your own library as it plays in the Plex app on the TV, with nothing re-encoded and no browser extension. On YouTube you get SponsorBlock skipping on an Apple TV without a server or an always-on computer. WORKS WITH THE APPS YOU ALREADY WATCH Prime Video, Hulu, Disney+, Apple TV+, Paramount+, Peacock, Crunchyroll, Tubi, AMC+, and any other app that uses the Apple TV's built-in player. YOU'RE IN CONTROL • Switch any word in the filter on or off. Changes apply mid-movie. • Mute landing early or late? Widen the cushion around each mute, or slide the whole filter earlier or later. • Put the phone down (Pro): turn on Auto-Sync and filtering keeps running with the screen off and the phone on the table. • Mic Sync (Pro): your iPhone listens to the TV and lines the filter up with the exact cut you're streaming, ad breaks and extended cuts included. Audio is processed on your device and never saved or uploaded. • Know before the first swear: if your Apple TV can't control your TV's volume yet, CleanCut says so and walks you through turning on HDMI-CEC. • Something wrong? Report a Problem sends CleanCut's own notes to us in one tap, so we can fix it without you writing a bug report. • No account. Usage data and diagnostic reports each have their own switch, in setup and in Settings. WHAT YOU'LL NEED An Apple TV on the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone or iPad, set to control your TV's volume (HDMI-CEC, which most TVs already have on). Filtering needs subtitles to exist for what you're watching; YouTube uses the video's own captions. Netflix and Max can't be filtered. Both use their own video player on the Apple TV and report nothing about what's playing. If they're most of your watching, CleanCut isn't the right buy. We'd rather say so here. Download CleanCut and pair your Apple TV. SUBSCRIPTIONS CleanCut is free to download. Filtering YouTube and Plex is free (ad-supported). CleanCut Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription ($7.99/month or $59.99/year, purchased separately): subtitle-based filtering for supported streaming apps with a monthly lookup allowance, no ads, Mic Sync, and filtering that keeps running with the phone locked. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://reclinedlogic.com/cleancut/privacy/
