About

Nasu

Nasu transcribes private-practice sessions on your iPhone. The audio never leaves it. There is no account, no upload, and nothing to sign. Transcription, speaker labels, and SOAP/DAP drafts all run on the device. A cloud scribe's BAA is a promise about what a vendor will do with your clients' words. On-device processing is the absence of that problem. WHAT YOU GET Nasu transcribes on this device. Recording and export are never gated. • Free — record any session. The first three transcripts are complete; after that, new transcripts stop at ten minutes. • Nasu Unlock (one-time) — unlimited transcript length, speaker labels, and custom vocabulary. If you bought Nasu when it was a paid app, you already have this. • Nasu Pro (optional subscription) — everything in Unlock, plus SOAP and DAP notes drafted on this device. You review every note. 7-day free trial, then monthly or yearly; cancel any time in your Apple ID settings. FOR PRIVATE PRACTICE • Record a session, get a transcript on this iPhone • Clients tab: roster, recency, and every session in one place • Optional voice recognition (Unlock): name a client's voice once, with consent, and later sessions label them • SOAP and DAP drafts (Nasu Pro), on request — never automatically • Initials-only display for a waiting room or shared desk • Face ID / passcode lock PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE • Transcription, speaker labels, and note drafts run entirely on this device • Works in airplane mode • No account, no sign-up, no analytics SDK • iCloud sync is opt-in and off by default — it uses your iCloud, not ours • Voiceprints are stored only with consent, encrypted, and deletable WHO SAID WHAT • Speaker labels on every turn (Nasu Unlock) • Two-person mode for 1:1 sessions • Tap any label to correct it THE NOTE YOU REVIEW • SOAP and DAP templates are Nasu Pro, drafted on request, never automatically • Per-section redraft; a review step before the note is marked done • Export Markdown, PDF, or plain text — never gated RECORDING • Record live, transcribe after, or import a file • Recording continues with the screen locked • Custom vocabulary for names and clinical terms (Nasu Unlock) • English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish Nasu is a note tool, not an EHR, not a diagnostic aid, and not a HIPAA certification. Audio and notes stay on your device so there is no vendor to breach. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Your clients' words stay on your iPhone. Nasu just writes them down.
