Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Execudex at 5.0 against Apply's 4.2. Execudex also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 74%). Apply's advantage is ratings volume (307 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Apply sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Execudex sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Execudex holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Apply has 307 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 74% of Apply's written reviews are positive against 100% of Execudex's.
Apply ships an update every 4 months, Execudex every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
