About

Extended Minesweeper

Features

Minesweeper Extended is the classic mine-hunting puzzle you grew up with — rebuilt natively for iPhone, sharpened with one small but game-changing rule. THE EXTENDED RULE In classic Minesweeper, a closed cell tells you nothing until you tap it. In Minesweeper Extended, the moment any of a cell's neighbors is opened, that closed cell starts showing how many mines sit around it. Nothing is faked, nothing is leaked — the hint is just the cell's own honest adjacency count, surfaced earlier. The result is a game with the same pure logic, far less blind guessing, and a flow that feels closer to a real puzzle than a coin flip. THREE DIFFICULTIES • Easy — 8 Ɨ 8 board, 10 mines. A coffee-break game. • Medium — 16 Ɨ 16 board, 40 mines. The classic challenge. • Hard — 16 Ɨ 30 board, 99 mines. For when you want to actually think. BUILT FOR IPHONE • First tap is always safe — no instant losses, no restarts on move one. • Tap to open. Long-press to cycle flag → question mark → clear. • Crisp haptic feedback on every open, flag and explosion. • Best times saved per difficulty so you can chase your own record. • Auto-save: close the app mid-game and pick up exactly where you left off. • Clean, native SwiftUI interface — no clutter, no popups, no nonsense. NO ACCOUNTS. NO ADS. NO TRACKING. The full game is free. There are no banners, no rewarded videos, no subscriptions, no accounts, no analytics. Everything runs locally on your device — your best times never leave your phone. OPTIONAL TIP JAR If you genuinely enjoy the game and want to support an independent developer, there's a Support screen with three optional tip tiers. They unlock absolutely nothing — they're just a thank-you. The game is exactly the same whether you tip or not. Made by a solo developer who still thinks Minesweeper is the best puzzle game ever shipped. Have fun.
