Before you buy a skincare product, find out what dermatologists have said about it. DermVerdict is a searchable index of the skincare products dermatologists discuss in their public YouTube videos. Search a product, a brand, or a skin concern, and see whether it was recommended, avoided, or somewhere in between, along with the pros and cons mentioned and a link to the video it came from. SEARCH ANY PRODUCT Type a product or brand name and get every verdict for it in one place. Search is forgiving: typos, spacing, and accents won't stop you from finding what you're looking for. SEE THE VERDICT AT A GLANCE Each product shows a clear stance, from "Strongly recommends" to "Avoids", with a summary of the pros and cons. When more than one dermatologist has discussed a product, you can see how their views compare. MADE FOR YOUR SKIN Tell DermVerdict your skin type and the concerns you care about, such as oily skin, acne, or sensitivity. Your results are reordered to show the products dermatologists recommended for those concerns first, with a clear label on each, and your home screen gathers them in one place. You can change or reset it at any time. COMPARE SIDE BY SIDE Choosing between products? Add two or three to Compare and see each dermatologist's verdict, the pros and cons, and the concerns they were discussed for, lined up in one view. BROWSE BY SKIN CONCERN Explore products by concern, including dryness, sun protection, anti-aging, sensitivity and redness, hyperpigmentation, acne, eczema, and rosacea. You can also browse by category or by brand. GO STRAIGHT TO THE SOURCE Every verdict links to the video it came from, so you can watch the full context for yourself. SAVE YOUR FAVORITES Keep a list of products you want to remember. Sign in with your email to keep your favorites across devices, or use the app as a guest with no account at all. SCAN A BARCODE Scan a product in the store to look it up. Barcode coverage is still limited, so searching by name is the most reliable way to find a product. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No ads, no analytics, and no tracking. Signing in is optional, and your skin profile stays on your iPhone. HOW IT WORKS Verdicts are generated automatically from the transcripts of public videos and are not individually reviewed. The dermatologists featured are not affiliated with DermVerdict and have not reviewed or endorsed it. DermVerdict is an informational tool, not medical advice.
