Sternie AI vs MuseKat

Sternie AI is an assistant for NYU Stern students that answers questions about courses, events, and university life.

MuseKat is a family learning companion that offers personalized audio stories about the world around you. Just snap a photo of any exhibit, landmark, or object, and MuseKat instantly creates playful, age-appropriate audio stories narrated by Miko the Meerkat—your family's endlessly curious guide. Ideal for museum visits, park adventures, historical landmarks, or even exploring art at home, MuseKat is an app for parents to spark imagination and keeps kids engaged and curious about the worlds around them. Take photos with your family throughout your day to learn about objects in the world around you, then summarize your day of learning with curiosity questions and an activity to do at home with your child later. HOW IT WORKS 1. Create a profile for your young learner or family. 2. Snap a photo of something intriguing—a painting, fossil, statue, or even a tree. 3. Capture a photo of any labels or descriptions (if available). 4. Receive a customized, delightful audio story right away. 5. Keep the conversation going with your child with additional questions and prompts.
