Learn something new every day, in just a few minutes. Dailywiki picks a handful of random Wikipedia articles for you: history, science, places, people, things you would never have searched for. Browse them over breakfast, on the train or before bed, or press play and listen. READ OR LISTEN Every article can be read aloud with your phone's voices. Pick a voice for each language, set the speed and follow along as the sentence and word being read are highlighted. Listening keeps going with the screen off or while you use other apps: learn while you walk or cook. A DAILY HABIT Choose how many articles you want per session. When the session ends, you decide whether to stop or keep going. Turn on a reminder, if you like, at the time that suits you. KEEP WHAT YOU LIKE Save the articles that surprise you and find them whenever you want, grouped by language. Listen to them again or open the full article on Wikipedia. IN YOUR LANGUAGE Choose the article language from any of Wikipedia's languages, even one different from the app's. — Article content comes from Wikipedia and is available under the CC BY-SA license. Are you interested in fluid dynamics? Viscous Joukowski simulates the flow around a Joukowski airfoil by solving the two-dimensional incompressible Navier–Stokes equations directly on your device. For teachers, students, and curious aerodynamicists, it provides an interactive way to explore how viscosity changes lift, drag, pressure, boundary layers, separation, and wake formation. Watch vorticity, speed, pressure, and streamlines evolve around the airfoil. Change the angle of attack, thickness, and camber by dragging directly on the flow field, or use precision controls. Adjust the Reynolds number to explore steady flow, separated wakes, starting vortices, and vortex shedding. Surface-pressure curves and aerodynamic-force estimates update as the simulation develops. The app also includes the classical analytical Joukowski potential-flow solution. Overlay it on the computed viscous pressure distribution to see where the ideal textbook model agrees with—or departs from—the Navier–Stokes result. In the potential solution, circulation is selected using the Kutta condition; in the viscous simulation, circulation and the wake develop dynamically from the no-slip flow. All calculations run locally using Apple MLX and GPU-accelerated Fourier methods. No server, account, or cloud computation is required.

Verdict
Dailywiki and ViscousJoukowski are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
