About

Haptic Viewer

Preview local video and haptic patterns together on your iPhone. Haptic Viewer helps haptic designers and developers compare visual events with tactile feedback. Import an MP4 or MOV video and a Meta Haptics Studio .haptic file into a project, or preview either file on its own. ADJUST THE FEEL Drag the haptic timeline to shift its timing, fine-tune the offset in 0.05-second steps, and change haptic intensity with Gain. Pause, seek, or restart to compare a moment again. In paired projects, haptics stop when the video ends. KEEP YOUR PROJECTS ORGANIZED Import video from Photos or Files and haptic patterns from Files. Rename projects, replace individual files, and keep your project library between launches. Start with Pulse, an included six-second demo with five synchronized beats. YOUR FILES STAY YOURS Imported media is copied into the app. Originals stay unchanged. Haptic Viewer has no account sign-in, ads, tracking, or analytics, and it does not upload your projects. Device backups and cloud files shown by system pickers are governed by your device and provider settings. REQUIREMENTS Requires iOS 17 or later. Haptic playback requires an iPhone with Core Haptics support. Keep the app open during playback. Supports Meta Haptics Studio .haptic JSON, not Apple AHAP. Frequency is approximated using Core Haptics sharpness, so the tactile result may differ from other devices. Haptic Viewer is an independent utility and is not affiliated with Meta.
