Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Kosmos at Free against Usborne Sticker Pirates's $0.99. Kosmos also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 6 months vs every 25 months). Usborne Sticker Pirates's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 16%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.2). On ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Kosmos is free to download; Usborne Sticker Pirates costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Kosmos holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Usborne Sticker Pirates's written reviews are positive against 16% of Kosmos's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Usborne Sticker Pirates ships an update every 25 months, Kosmos every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
