aegis is a personal safety app. You press SOS, and the people who can help get your location and your details. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU PRESS SOS You get a six second countdown. While it runs, aegis asks a few short questions about what is happening and you tap the answers. At zero it dispatches. Those answers travel with the alert, so help does not start from nothing. You can keep answering after dispatch, and each answer updates the live report. YOUR GUARDIANS Add the people you trust. When an SOS dispatches they receive a text with your name, what is happening, and a link to your location that keeps updating. Remove a guardian and their link stops working. A LIVE AGENT WHEN YOU WANT ONE From the SOS screen you can escalate to a professional dispatch agent who can send police or EMS. Your medical profile, allergies and blood type go with the alarm. THE DURESS PIN Set a second PIN. Entering it looks exactly like cancelling: your screen returns to normal. It does not cancel anything. The alarm stays live, your location keeps going out, and dispatch is told not to call or text you back. IT KEEPS WORKING WHEN YOUR PHONE IS NOT IN YOUR HAND Once an SOS is live, location keeps flowing while the app is backgrounded, locked or even killed. EVIDENCE Capture photo and video during an incident. It saves to your device and uploads to your account, and it retries later if you are offline. REACHING AEGIS FAST Quick access shows you how to open aegis with the Action Button, Back Tap or your voice assistant, with the exact steps for your phone. aegis is not a replacement for calling your local emergency number.

BLOCK SPAM AUTOMATICALLY - High-confidence spam numbers are blocked by iOS on the native call screen - Your personal blocklist goes to iOS as well - Blocking keeps working whether or not the app is open LABEL SUSPICIOUS CALLERS - Reported numbers show a "Spam" label on the incoming-call screen - Labels name the pattern: robocall, fake tech support, tax-office impersonation, loan offer - Updated as the community reports new numbers LOOK UP A NUMBER - Check any unknown number before you call back - See how many people reported it, and what for - Report a number in two taps and help everyone else COMMUNITY SCAM DATABASE - Built from reports by the people using the app - AI flags new scam patterns as they appear: gift-card demands, tax-office impersonation, family-emergency scams - Refreshes in the background so your call screen stays current AI CALL COACH - Ask whether a number is worth calling back - Learn how a scam script works before it reaches you - Straight answers, no jargon WHAT iOS ALLOWS Apple does not let any app answer or listen to a call, so ScreenMeld does not claim to. On iPhone it does what iOS does allow, and does it properly: blocking, labelling and lookup through the system call directory. aegis+ ships an update weekly, Screen Meld every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
