Drum2Notes vs Drum Coach

Drum2Notes: Transcribe Drum Recordings to Sheet Music » Transcribe drum recordings to sheet music » View the transcribed music as drum notation » Playback the music recognition and listen to the result » Download sheet as PDF, MIDI, or MusicXML » Share your drum sheet with your friends HOW DOES IT WORK? Once your drum recording is uploaded, our artificial intelligence powered music recognition processes it to generate a score based on what it hears. When the sheet music is finished, you get three outputs - a MIDI file, a PDF engraved sheet music, and a MusicXML digital sheet. MusicXML export is compatible with MuseScore and Sibelius. The MIDI format is compatible with Ableton Live, GarageBand, Logic Pro X, Cubase, and FL Studio. It has never been easier to convert drum pieces to sheet music! WHAT THIS APP DOESN'T OFFER » Separation of multiple instruments: The note recognition can't separate multiple instruments. If you record multiple instruments playing simultaneously, you will get bad sheet music results! As the name suggests, Drum2Notes will work only with drum recordings. » Live music recognition: This app is not able to show you live music recognition results. Instead, it will take some time to perform the frequency analysis and show you the results. » 100% match percentage: This app won't detect 100% of the music recognition and there will also be wrong detections. But depending on the quality of the input signal, it will give you useful suggestions! REQUIREMENTS » Internet: active internet connection for server connectivity » iOS: version 11.0 and up » Microphone DESKTOP VERSION » There is a desktop version of this app available, which you can access in your browser: https://drum2notes.klang.io » The desktop version covers even more features like converting sheet music from YouTube, uploading MP3 files, and downloading as PDF, MIDI, or MusicXML files. Give your music your personal note! SUMMARY Transcribe drum music from your microphone to sheet music. With Drum2Notes, you can create live recordings of your drum performances. Those are uploaded to your personal songbook and transcribed to sheet music. Music recognition for drums has never been so easy! CONTACT US We're always happy to hear from you. DrumCoach is a focused practice tool for drummers, built around a sample-accurate metronome and a set of practice modes that cover timing, reading, grooves, rudiments, and ear training. METRONOME Tap tempo, adjustable subdivisions (quarter, eighth, triplet, sixteenth, and more), accent control, count-in, and randomized or alternating mutes to test your internal clock. RHYTHM READING A library of notated reading exercises across five levels of difficulty, plus a random sight-reading generator that keeps producing new patterns so you never memorize the answer. GROOVES Over 50 drum grooves across rock, funk, reggae, ska, dancehall, reggaeton, cumbia, and merengue, shown as a step grid or a scrolling note highway, with optional groove playback. RUDIMENTS 18 rudiments from the PAS 40 International Drum Rudiments standard, with adjustable tempo and accents, shown as sticking cards so you can see exactly what to play. STICK CONTROL 40 classic stick control exercises with rep counting and auto-advance, for building endurance and hand control. DICTATION Ear-training exercises: listen to a rhythm or a drum fill, try to play it back from memory, then reveal the notation to check yourself. Fills are transcribed directly from a published drumming method book. PRACTICE LOG Every session is tracked automatically, broken down by day and by practice mode, so you can see exactly where your practice time is going. SONGS Upload your own songs: DrumCoach separates the drums from the music and finds the beat, so you can play along at any tempo from 50% to 150% without changing the pitch, with a click that follows the song and a count-in. Search, filter and organize them in playlists. A demo song is included. DRUMCOACH PREMIUM All the practice tools are free, with no ads. Premium is an optional auto-renewing monthly subscription that lets you keep up to 50 of your own songs (free accounts keep one) and syncs your practice across your iPhone, iPad, Mac and the web. New subscribers get a one-week free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically every month unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your App Store account settings.
