The Sports Game Where Every Point Matters Every point of every game matters with the Cover5 scoring system. We use the Cover5 spread to strike a balance between the favorite and the underdog. You score points based on how much your picks cover or don't cover the spread. Cover5 uses real teams and real scores so you won't have to root for players on teams you hate or blow your season because your first round draft pick tore an ACL. The Cover5 mobile app allows you to play on the go anywhere, anytime! HIGHLIGHTS: - Make your picks for the given game period (each week of football, each round of the tournament, etc.). - In-app live scoring keeps you up to date on game scores and your Cover5 points at any time. - See how you stack up against other players in your contest on our Round and Overall Leaderboards. - Join or play in a league anywhere, anytime from the Cover5 mobile app. - Share the fun with friends through email invitations or sharing a link from the app. Download it now and join the fun!

Test your MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL knowledge by filling out the grid. Fill out the matrix with players that meet the requirements of both the rows and columns. Follow these simple 8 rules: 1. For each cell, choose a player that meets the requirement of both that cell's row and the column. 2. A player counts as playing for a team if they played at least one game for that team. 3. When a cell is for an award and a team, the player needs to have won that award and played for that team. They are NOT required to have won that award while playing on that team. 4. The same player cannot be used in multiple cells. 5. There are as many guesses as there are cells to fill out the entire grid. 6. All guesses, both right and wrong, count as a guess. 7. All active and inactive players can be guessed. 8. Have FUN!

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Sportrix at 4.6 against Cover5's 2.9. Sportrix also leads on ratings volume (2.3K vs 35) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days). Cover5's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Sportrix holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.9. Cover5 ships an update every 9 days, Sportrix every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
