thirdspace is where your existing friend group goes to have MORE FUN, together. You know that random Tuesday urge to get boba? The "someone come watch this sunset with me right now" moment? The "I just found the weirdest thrift store, get over here" energy? Those are sidequests. And thirdspace is built for exactly that. We made this app because we were tired of the same group chat cycle. Someone says "we should hang out," everyone says "definitely," and then nobody does anything for three weeks. thirdspace kills that cycle in two minutes flat. HOW SIDEQUESTS WORK 1. Start a Sidequest Snap a pic of whatever caught your attention, type what you're doing, and send it out. Could be anything. A spontaneous coffee run. A walk to nowhere. Finding the best taco within walking distance. Your nearby friends get notified instantly. 2. The 2-Minute Window Your friends have 2 minutes to join the sidequest. That's it. No "let me check my schedule." No "maybe later." You're either locking in or missing the moment. This timer exists because the best hangouts are the ones nobody overthinks. 3. Location Reveal Your location stays completely hidden until a friend accepts. Once they're in, maps unlock for both of you, and you're on your way to actually meeting up. Safety first, always. 4. Capture the Moment When you link up, take a pic together. No filters. No posing for 20 minutes. Just proof that you actually left the house and did something with your friends. Share it with your circle or post it publicly. Your Sidequest Log: Every hangout gets saved to your personal Memories. Scroll back through all the spontaneous coffee runs, the chaotic midnight drives, the "why did we walk here" adventures. A whole timeline of times you actually showed up for your friends. WHY YOUR FRIEND GROUP NEEDS THIS The 2-minute timer makes flaking basically impossible. You're in or you're not. No more "I'll let you know" texts that go nowhere. Locations stay private until someone commits. Your friends only see where you are after they accept the sidequest. This isn't another app for watching people live their lives through a screen. thirdspace is for people who want to be in the room, on the curb, at the spot. The whole point is to get you and your friends outside, doing things together in real life. Whether its your close friends or someone new in the group, the best connections happen when you stop scrolling and start showing up. thirdspace. stop scrolling. start questing.

About

Napharu

Napharu is a social network for creators, owned by the people who make or break the site, YOU. Text posts for expressing your mind, image posts for expressing your art, video posts for making people laugh or cry, even audio posts for podcasts and music! It's everything in one. The main thing is that Napharu is creator owned! That's the biggest difference besides the algorithm among many other differences. Meaning you not only have a say in how the site affects creators but you also have a share in whatever profits we gain. "But that's socialism!" You say? Why yes, it is. What's more, unlike all the other social media out there, so many things set us apart from them. For example, your followers *actually see* your posts! There is no boost button, no paid reach, and no ads in the feed unless YOU put them there. That's right, you manage your own merch, your own sponsors, your own income. This site is to help make us ALL rich, not just me. We all own the means of production. The algorithm is unique. The business is transparent and even the ranking rules are published in full on our site. Did I mention you get a vote on how the platform affects your audience? That includes the algorithm. The nature of which is not a secret and you get a say in how it works. Your profile page is your canvas. Pick a color and the palette is built around it; frames, textures, backgrounds, video, audio and type are yours to choose. Your work stays yours. Yours to sell. We do not sell your data, and we do not train AI on your work or let anyone else do it. We block AI scrapers. Direct messages and certain types of groups are end-to-end encrypted, so the server cannot read them. A good chunk (where possible) of your profile data, the data other platforms use to personalize your feed (your algorithm), is built and kept on your phone. We don't have access to it at all. I couldn't sell that data if I wanted to. For the problem of impersonation. Every account carries a Signet: a permanent seal, minted when the account is created, that nobody can alter it afterwards. It is not a claim that anyone checked your ID. It is a narrower promise, nobody can convincingly pretend to be you. There will always be a tell, and that tell will be the holographic signet. Moderation is deliberately narrow. Report anything from the ••• menu, block anyone from their profile, and appeal any decision to a person. Voting is how moderation is done. Napharu is in beta and joining needs an invite code. Privacy Policy: https://napharu.net/privacy Terms of Use: https://napharu.net/terms
