RoomScope is the scanner app for the RoomScope service. Scanners use LiDAR-equipped iPhones and iPads to capture precise 3D scans of college dorm rooms, which are used to build accurate, room-specific digital models for incoming students. This app is intended for approved scanners only. An invitation or scanner account is required to sign in and submit scans. If you are a student looking to see a scan of your dorm room, please visit the RoomScope website. WHAT YOU CAN DO IN THE APP - Sign in with your RoomScope scanner account - Capture LiDAR scans of dorm rooms using Apple's RoomPlan framework - Attach photos and room metadata (building, room number, school) - Submit scans for review by RoomScope administrators - Receive push notifications when a scan needs a retake - View your submission history and scan status REQUIREMENTS - A LiDAR-equipped iPhone or iPad (iPhone 12 Pro or newer, or an iPad Pro with LiDAR) - An active RoomScope scanner account - Permission to enter and scan the spaces you capture ABOUT ROOMSCOPE RoomScope gives incoming college students precise, room-specific details about their dorm, including measurements, layouts, closet sizes, and window and door placements.
