Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: BumzTracker at 5.0 against Nintendo Today!'s 4.3. BumzTracker also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 62%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Nintendo Today!'s advantage is ratings volume (1K vs 3) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
BumzTracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nintendo Today! has 1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Nintendo Today! ships an update every 9 days, BumzTracker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
