TransVision vs LandArt Studio

Human perception has long been influenced by technological breakthroughs. An intimate mediation of technology lies in between our direct perceptions. By simulating our Hyperallergenic perceptual machine, this project defamiliarizes and questions the habitual ways in which we interpret, operate, and understand the visual world intervened by digital media.

LandArt Studio is a nature craft studio for your iOS device. Choose a landscape—forest floor, beach, meadow, or mountaintop. Pick a season. Gather stones, leaves, twigs, shells, and petals from your forage pile. Arrange them into mandalas, cairns, spirals, or whatever emerges. Learn what balances and what falls. Shift the light from dawn to dusk. Capture your composition to share, or watch time and weather return it to the earth. No scores. No streaks. No timers. Just the quiet satisfaction of making something with what the world provides. FOUR LANDSCAPES Each environment has its own materials, physics, and light. Stack smooth beach stones at the tide line. Arrange autumn leaves on the forest floor. Build wildflower spirals in summer meadows. Balance angular granite under alpine sun. SIXTEEN ENVIRONMENTS Every landscape transforms across spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Materials change. Colors shift. Ice becomes a medium. Mud changes the rules. The same beach in January feels nothing like August. REAL OBJECTS Materials have weight and friction. and fragility. Natural objects (leaves, stones, shells, flowers, twigs) to use as draggable elements in the app LIGHT THAT MATTERS Slide from dawn to dusk. Watch your composition transform as shadows stretch and colors warm. A mandala that works at noon might sing at golden hour. Compose for the light you want. DISSOLUTION MODE Optionally watch your creation return to earth. Leaves curl. Petals fade. Ice melts. Stacks eventually fall. Art made from nature returns to nature. Or skip this entirely and just save your work. NO GAMIFICATION No daily rewards. No achievement badges. No notifications begging you to return. Open the app when you want to make something. Close it when you're done.
