The password is the only way to access your notes. If you forget it, the content of your notes will be permanently lost. Therefore, please make sure to remember your password carefully and avoid setting one that is too simple, to prevent others from guessing it through brute force attacks. Notes are encrypted and stored locally, not on the server. You can back them up via iCloud.

Notes can include text content, categories, and tags, with support for recurring and range-based time contexts. The app operates offline-first and synchronizes when connectivity is available. Users can view notes in a list ordered by relevance to current time and location. Notes are versioned, preserving a history of edits. Nidus Notes is designed for fieldwork and data collection, providing structured, contextualized information capture.
