Remember which campsite worked. CampsiteLog is your private journal for every site you've stayed at — with the levelness, hookups, satellite view, and notes that matter for your rig. No accounts, no social feed, no booking pitch. Just your own data, on your phone, ready when you're picking your next site. WHAT YOU CAN LOG • Levelness front-to-back and side-to-side • Hookups: electric (with amp level), water, sewer • Site number, surface type, drainage, pullthrough • Bathhouse distance, privacy, vibe, cell signal • Up to 3 photos per review with full-screen zoom • Free-form notes for the things only you'll remember BUILT FOR YOUR RIG Save multiple equipment profiles — tent, travel trailer, fifth-wheel, motorhome — with custom names and lengths. Every review is tagged automatically so you can tell at a glance which sites actually fit. SATELLITE SITE MAPPING Every review gets a satellite mini-map of the exact site. Tap to expand, toggle to standard view, or drop a manual pin if GPS missed. The history map clusters by campground when zoomed out and breaks into individual sites as you zoom in. WORKS OFFLINE Lost signal at the campground? Log the stay anyway. When you reconnect, CampsiteLog quietly searches for matching campgrounds and asks you to confirm — so your offline entries don't stay messy. SEARCH AND FILTER Find any past stay by campground name, state, year, or month. Recent reviews stay one tap away on the home screen. YOUR DATA, YOUR CONTROL • Export everything as JSON or a full .campsitelog backup (photos included) • Import the same formats — restore or move between devices • Accidentally deleted a review? 30-day recovery in Settings WHO IT'S FOR RV and trailer travelers who want to remember which sites worked. Tent campers welcome — every field is optional. Solo loggers, not a social network. OPTIONAL CLOUD BACKUP A subscription unlocks automatic backup of your reviews and photos to the cloud, so a lost phone doesn't mean a lost log. CampsiteLog works fully without it — backup is opt-in. Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: RV Notebook at free against CampsiteLog's freemium. RV Notebook also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1). CampsiteLog's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RV Notebook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CampsiteLog sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for RV Notebook against 5.0 for CampsiteLog. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RV Notebook has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
RV Notebook ships an update every 10 days, CampsiteLog every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
