Acoustic Analyser is a real-time audio measurement tool for musicians, technicians, and sound designers. It visualizes live microphone input in both the time and frequency domains, explicitly bypassing standard OS voice processing (like auto-gain and noise suppression) to give you an uncolored, accurate reading of your acoustic environment. Features: • Waveform & Spectrum Views: Monitor live audio blocks and view averaged magnitude spectrums on a log-frequency axis (20 Hz to Nyquist). • Accurate Peak Detection: Automatically identifies prominent frequencies with sub-bin precision and dynamic range gating. • Pitch & Harmonic Readout: Tap any peak to view its exact frequency, nearest equal-tempered musical note, cents deviation, and harmonic ratios. • Tone Playback: Audition isolated frequency peaks as pure sine waves with equal-loudness compensation. • Adjustable Parameters: Fine-tune your analysis with customizable FFT sizes, averaging modes (exponential or peak hold), and display offsets.

Verdict
AcousticCheck and Overtone are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
