Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: NeuroLingo at every 8 days against DP's every 4 months. NeuroLingo also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). DP's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for NeuroLingo against 5.0 for DP. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NeuroLingo has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
NeuroLingo ships an update every 8 days, DP every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
