Built by developers, for developers. We created this app because we faced a common problem: receiving an urgent alert while out of the office—on vacation or at dinner—without a laptop nearby. We needed a way to quickly check the database, run a diagnostic query, or fix a record using just a phone. We built this tool for our own use, but realized other developers might need it too. This isn't a bloated enterprise suite. It is a straightforward, secure, and comfortable tool to manage your PostgreSQL databases when you are away from your workstation. Core Functionality: * Emergency Access: Connect to your database from anywhere (supports SSL). * CRUD Operations: Select, Insert, Update, and Delete rows via a visual interface. * Custom SQL: Write and execute complex queries. * Data Export: Export your query results to CSV or JSON to share or analyze. * Table Inspector: Browse schemas, views, and tables with pagination. Security & Privacy: * 100% Local: We do not have a backend. Your data never touches our servers. * Encrypted Credentials: All passwords are stored using the device’s native secure storage (Keychain on iOS). * Direct Connection: The app connects directly from your device to your PostgreSQL server.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: PostgreSQL Visual Manager at 5.0 against Schema's 4.3. PostgreSQL Visual Manager also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and device support (3 vs 1). Schema's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

PostgreSQL Visual Manager holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Schema has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
