About

Bini

Two people. One app. No feed, no strangers, no ads. Bini is Latin for "a pair", and it is built for one couple. You pair with your partner once, and that is the entire app. Nobody else can join it, and nobody else can find you in it. There is no one to meet here — only the partner you already have. Your messages, photos, voice notes and calls are end-to-end encrypted with keys made on your own devices — so we cannot read them. MESSAGES THAT STAY YOURS Text, photos, videos, voice notes, files and stickers, end-to-end encrypted with X25519 key exchange and AES-256-GCM. Send view-once media that disappears after it is seen, find a GIF without leaving the chat, and get told if a photo or video you sent is captured. Reply to anything, react with a tap. VOICE AND VIDEO CALLS Ring each other straight from the chat. A call arrives like a real phone call, even on the lock screen, and calls between the two of you are end-to-end encrypted too. EMOJIS AND STREAKS Turn the wheel to one of eight emoji and tap to send it — or hold, and it arrives big. Send each other one on the same day and your interaction streak grows. Miss a day and a Streak Saviour can bring it back within 24 hours. A NOTES BOARD FOR TWO Leave each other notes on a cork board on the app's main screen. Tap a line to cross it off, stamp a note Done, On it or with a heart, and write a reply underneath. PAIR MAP See each other on a live map. Sharing starts switched off and stays off until you turn it on, and you can switch it back off at any time. Go Live for a set stretch of time when you are on your way, and save the places that matter to you both as shared lists. MEMORIES Photos pinned to the spot they were taken, so you can wander back through your favourite days on a map. SHARED CALENDAR Plans, anniversaries and birthdays in one place, with colour-coded categories, a year view, and syncing to your device calendar. QUESTION OF THE DAY A new question every day. You both answer, then both answers unlock at once. STICKERS OF YOUR OWN Turn a photo into a sticker — the subject is cut out for you. Import packs, keep favourites, and send the ones only the two of you will understand. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your messages, photos, videos, voice notes, files, stickers, calls and daily-question answers are end-to-end encrypted. The keys are created on your devices and only ever leave them encrypted, in a form we cannot open. What you write in your calendar entries is end-to-end encrypted too, and so are the notes you pin to your shared board and the photos and videos in your Memories. Location sharing is opt-in: it stays off until you turn it on, and you can switch it off again at any moment. There are no ads in the app, and we do not sell your data. ALSO INSIDE Lock the app behind Face ID or Touch ID. The app asks iOS to block screenshots and screen recording in chat and during calls. Available in 33 languages. PREMIUM, SHARED One subscription covers both partners — whoever subscribes, you both get it. Premium opens up the shared calendar in full, with categories, year view and device-calendar sync, plus shared place lists on the Pair Map. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
