About

Balak

Features

Balak is a note on the fridge that lives in your pocket: one calm place for what is on your mind. • Catch the idea before it escapes: the field is ready, and dictation is one tap away. • Four tasks for today, and "Pick one for me" when you do not know where to start. • "Start": one task on the screen and a visual timer, nothing else. • My dates: a countdown in days and hours for the dentist, a passport renewal, a birthday, with a reminder on time. • Spaces: Home, Work and whatever you like, each with its own tasks, notes and dates. • People with hand-drawn faces, shared projects, and a family space when you want to share. • A bell that keeps what reached you from others (a class post, a task in a shared space, a note on the family fridge), with a dot, never a number. • Home Screen widgets, and a Live Activity for a focus session and the next appointment. • No red, no streaks, no points. Something past its date gets one quiet sentence. • Two looks: the calm BV2 and a black-and-white E-ink. Dark mode included. • Seventeen languages, including Arabic and English. Balak is for anyone who finds it hard to start or easy to get distracted, including people with ADHD. It is an everyday organising tool: it does not diagnose or treat anything, and it is not a substitute for a professional. Everything works on your device without an account. The Balak account is optional: it syncs your devices with no email and no password, with an optional recovery email only. You can delete it from inside the app at any time.
