Read full descriptionHide full description
Red Farmer connects fire departments with volunteer helpers from the agricultural sector. Helpers can register their agricultural machinery and drones in the Red Farmer app and make them visible to fire departments within a 40-kilometre radius. Fire departments can view available helpers on their mobile devices and contact them directly in the event of a fire or other disaster. Support is provided exclusively on a voluntary basis. Following contact, each operator decides whether and to what extent they are able to provide assistance. Red Farmer is based on FARMPILOT technology. Data is processed securely and protected in accordance with applicable EU data protection requirements. Registration does not constitute an obligation to provide assistance or guarantee availability. Insurance coverage and other protections during an operation are governed by the applicable laws in Germany and the regulations of the responsible fire department.
