Echo records your meetings and writes the notes for you. It works for online calls and in person conversations, transcribes in 100+ languages, and hands you a summary with the key points and action items when the meeting ends. Downloaded 360,000+ times by professionals, students, and teams.* Most note takers only handle online meetings. They send a bot into the call, it sits in the attendee list, and someone always asks what it is. Echo records from your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch instead. Nothing to invite, nothing to set up. DOES ECHO WORK FOR IN PERSON MEETINGS? That is what it was built for. Client meetings, 1:1s, interviews, lectures, site visits. Phone on the table, one tap, and you can stop writing and start listening. CAN ECHO RECORD ZOOM, TEAMS, AND GOOGLE MEET CALLS? Yes, and any other call too. Echo records from your iPhone the same way it records a conversation in the room, so the platform does not matter and there is nothing to connect. WHAT DO YOU GET WHEN THE MEETING ENDS? The full transcript, a summary of what was discussed, the key points, and the action items. Enough to write the follow up email without opening the recording again. And when you need one specific thing out of an old meeting, just ask. Echo AI searches the recording for you: what the client agreed to, when the deadline is, who owns what. FEATURES Summaries that give you the decisions and the next steps Key points, so you can jump to the part that mattered Ask Echo AI for answers about any recording Recording on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, so you can start from whatever is closest Works with Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, and calls on any other platform Upload audio you already have and get it transcribed Transcription in 100+ languages Sharing by message, email, or anywhere else you work Folders and search across everything you have recorded Workspaces that keep your whole team on the same notes WHAT USERS SAY From App Store reviews in the US: "One touch and my 90min zoom meeting was summarized in seconds afterwards. This is a career changing tool for me." "If you're in a meeting, this is a must have tool. Never miss anything important!" "Really an amazing tool and very accurate transcriptions with great AI built in features." WHO USES ECHO Salespeople and consultants who need a record of what the client actually said Managers running back to back 1:1s Students recording lectures and seminars Teams that keep losing decisions between meetings IS ECHO FREE? Free to download, and you can record your first meeting straight away. Echo Plus adds longer recordings, unlimited notes, audio file uploads, and sharper summaries, and it starts with a free trial. IS MY DATA PRIVATE? Your recordings, transcripts, and summaries are end to end encrypted, and Echo follows European data protection standards. Download Echo and stop taking notes in meetings. *Total downloads as of 2026. DocHive

Paper goes in. A named, sorted PDF comes out - on a server you own. Filing a document usually means scanning in one app, exporting, hunting for the right folder, and inventing a filename. The naming drifts, the folders drift, and eventually it just doesn't get done. DocHive is four taps: scan, pick a category, tap a few tags, done. The file lands at Category/Year/Month with a name that looks the same as every other one you have filed - so it is still findable in a year. YOUR DOCUMENTS, YOUR STORAGE There is no DocHive account and no DocHive cloud. Files go where you tell them: a folder on your iPhone or in iCloud Drive, or your own server over WebDAV. Works with Nextcloud, Synology NAS, and any standard WebDAV server. IT READS THE DOCUMENT SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO DocHive recognises the text of a scan on the device and suggests the category, the tags, and the date the document states about itself - so an invoice from last month is filed under last month, not today. It learns the senders you file, and gets better at it. Nothing is filed automatically. You confirm every one. BUILT FOR A SERVER THAT ISN'T ALWAYS THERE A home server is not reachable from a train. A scan is written to the device before any upload is attempted, and it stays there until it has genuinely arrived - uploads continue with the phone locked, and retry on their own. A scan is never lost to a failed upload. ALSO • Multi-page scanning, with reorder and delete before you file • Searchable text layer inside every PDF • Search everything you have filed, and open it again • Import PDFs and images you already have • Full English, German and Polish • Backup and restore your setup and history to a single file • No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no accounts DocHive is made in Switzerland by DataVibes.ch.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DocHive at none against Echo's 9. Echo's advantage is chart position (#137 vs unranked) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
