Repbar
Read full descriptionHide full description
Repbar counts your reps for you. Prop your iPhone up, start counting, and train. Repbar watches you through the front camera and counts every push-up, dip and pull-up as you do it — no wearable, no chest strap, no tapping between sets. When you are done, one tap saves the set. HOW IT WORKS Repbar follows your head and shoulders. During push-ups it sees you come closer and move away; during pull-ups and dips it sees you rise and fall. That movement is all it needs. Look left, look right, look down — it keeps counting, because it never depends on your face pointing at the lens. Everything is analysed on your iPhone with Apple's on-device Vision framework, and no image is ever recorded or sent anywhere. Place your iPhone so your head and shoulders stay in view: on the floor beside you for push-ups, propped in front of you for dips and pull-ups. PREFER TO TYPE? STILL FASTER THAN MOST Every set can also be entered by hand in two taps, with the number pad already up and a shortcut that repeats your last set. TODAY AT A GLANCE The home screen shows all three exercises with today's reps, today's sets, and your best set ever. PERSONAL RECORDS Your best single set for each exercise is found automatically from your log. Nothing to enter, nothing to maintain. HISTORY Every training day, newest first, rolled up per exercise. No filters to configure, no menus to dig through. STATISTICS Reps today, this week and this month. Training days, current streak and best day. Per exercise: lifetime total, best set and average per training day, plus a plain 14-day chart. FIX MISTAKES FAST Tap any set to correct the number, or delete it from the same sheet. A miscount is never permanent. YOUR CALL Mute the spoken count, or replace the live picture with plain black if watching yourself mid-set puts you off. The camera keeps counting either way. BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY - Black and white, nothing else - Light, Dark and System appearance - Dynamic Type and VoiceOver support throughout - Large numbers, large touch targets, no clutter - Opens instantly PRIVATE BY DESIGN Repbar has no network code at all. Camera frames are measured and discarded — never recorded, never uploaded. Your training log never leaves your iPhone. - No account and no sign-in - No analytics and no tracking - No advertising - Camera access is the only permission, and only while counting WHAT REPBAR IS NOT It is not a workout planner, a coach or a social network. There are no programs, no videos, no streak notifications nagging you. It counts reps and remembers them.
