FastPlay is a video player. It does not include any content. FastPlay plays the catalogue of the IPTV provider you are already subscribed to. To use it you need three things, and the app provides none of them: the address of your provider's service, your username and password with that provider, and an access code. FastPlay does not host, supply, curate or recommend any channel, film or series. Everything you see inside the app comes from your provider's server and is requested directly by your device. What the app provides is the player and the interface: • A catalogue browser for live channels, films and series • Resume where you left off • A favourites list that follows you across your devices • Subtitle and audio track selection • A parental lock that starts closed every time you open the app • Sign in from your phone by scanning a QR code If you do not have an account with an IPTV provider, this app will show you nothing but its sign-in screen.

Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: FSPLAY at 100% against XP IPTV's 31%. FSPLAY also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). XP IPTV's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 22 months) and ratings volume (17 vs 2). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
