About

Simple Letters

Features

Simple Letters is a deliberately simple way to write letters without having to think about formatting. There are no fonts, font sizes, text boxes, margins or formatting tools. You simply choose who you're writing to and type your letter as plain text. Simple Letters automatically takes care of the parts that are easy to get wrong, including the alignment of addresses, dates, greetings and sign-offs. If you want a quick tidy up, Apple Intelligence (on compatible devices) can check your text for grammatical errors and improve its structure on compatible devices. There are no prompts or instructions to write, it simply gives your letter a quick clean up with all processing running locally on your device. It is designed to feel more like writing a message than using a word processor: just type what you want to say, and Simple Letters turns it into a nicely formatted letter.
