Bean Crush
Read full descriptionHide full description
The harvest arrives at the Eternal Granary unsorted, and the Granary only keeps what comes in threes. Match three beans of a kind in a row, a column or a diagonal, and they go home. Swap in any of eight directions. Four in a line leave a striped bean, four in a square an explosive bean, and five in a line the gold key. POWER MOVES Tap a special bean twice to set it off where it stands. Swap two of them together for a bigger blast: two striped beans fire a cross, a striped and an explosive bean three rows and three columns, two explosive beans a five-by-five. The gold key calls a whole colour home. FILLING THE GOAL IS NOT HOW YOU WIN It is how you are let in. Fill the harvest and the King and Queen step out onto the board. Bring the two of them side by side before your moves run out, and the level is yours. They only move for a swap that lands in a match, unless you swap a gold key into one of them: then the other comes straight over. A CAVE FULL OF CHARACTERS The deeper you go, the more of the cave comes to meet you, one at a time, with a few levels to learn each before the next arrives. • Viper drifts about the board on his own. • The SoulEater falls through the board. Clear his square the ordinary way and he costs you moves; catch him with a special move and your moves are doubled. • Astra never moves, and sets stone around you. Bring Viper beside her and you may take any one character on the board. • Karmakaze slips away when you get close, and blows up the whole board when you finally catch her. • DuskX freezes the beans around him. Melt your way in before you can take him. • The Favourite is worth the most on the board, and costs the most if you leave her alone with DuskX. • The Jester turns up when he pleases and throws the beans around him about. Only a special move can catch any of them. FOUR MAPS, EIGHTY LEVELS Eighty levels, walked stop by stop down a winding road: four maps of twenty, each one opening through the arch at the foot of the map before it. Open chests along the way for tools and beans. TOOLS AND THE STOREKEEPER The Miner's Pick smashes any one bean or catches a character. The Cave Torch burns a three-by-three patch clear. The Granary Key turns a bean into the gold key. None of them costs a move, and every bean you send home is banked for the storekeeper. MADE TO BE PLAYED BY EVERYONE Every set of bean colours a level can deal is checked to stay distinct under colour blindness. Reduced motion is respected. A banner while you play, and an ad only if you choose one for more moves. Nothing to buy, no accounts, nothing collected. Your progress stays on your device. Bean Crush is No. 02 of the Mini Games, from the same cave as Bean Snake.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Bean Crush at none against ONE PIECE BASE(EN)'s 6. Bean Crush also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 weeks). ONE PIECE BASE(EN)'s advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
